Viewsonic has announced its new 35-series of LCD HDTVs, HD-capable LCD panels at prices consumers may find palatable—even if the displays can't handle 1080p content. The new N2635w, N3235w, and N3735w are sized at 26, 32, and 37 inches, respectively, with each supporting resolutions of 1,366 by 768 pixels and 500 nits of brightness.

"Consumers are sure to enjoy the quality and impressive performance of these LCD TVs as they enjoy summer-time viewing of HD sports, movies, and their favorite summer TV series."
The new 35-series displays support HDCP-enabled HDMI, DVI, S-Video, composite and component inputs, a 2D comb filter wth motion adaptive de-interlacing for consistent, clear imaging, and S/PDIF audio outputs for connecting to a home audio or theater system. The 32- and 37-inch models sport 1,200:1 contrast ratios, while the 26-inch unit comes in at 800:1. The larger units also tout VGA inputs for connecting to a PC.
The N2635w, N3235w, and N3735w are available now and carry suggested prices of $599, $699, and $899 respectively. The televisions come with a one-year warranty.
