01 August 2007 – Denon has slapped down two BluRay players that they say will lead the way and make competitors’ models look like cheap supermarket knock-offs by comparison.
The DVD-3800BD and DVD-2500BT will drop in the States first, before getting their European debut at IFA in Berlin in early September.
Both hi-def heroes are replete with ‘Final Standard Profile’, the level at which all BluRay players will have to be released come the back end of 2007.
These are Denon’s first hi-def decks and they look to be well worth the wait, chucking out full HD and upscaling your massive collection of Akira and ‘adult movies’ in standard def to a hugely pleasing 1080p.
They’ll be arriving in the UK in November, just in time for you to splash your Christmas present budget on one.
