03 September 2007 – The OBC-DVI fiber-optic cable system from Aurora Multimedia lets digital displays (plasma TV, digital projectors, LCD monitors, HDTV, etc.) be placed up to 328ft. away from the video source based on a single-link DVI standard.
Aurora Multimedia’s patented optical conversion technology supports resolutions up to (1600x 1200) at 60Hz and HDTV signals up to 1080p.
The system connectors are detachable from the cable and require an opening of just 1in., making the cable ideal for fishing through small openings.
The product is controlled via IR, RS-232/422/485, Telnet, relays or I/Os, and WACI NX houses the control interface.
The device is optimized for HDTV monitors—HDCP-compliant, with a true DDC connection. Separate single-link DVI-D transmission and reception boxes are connected with LC connectors.
