The second generation T-Amp has been completely redesigned from the ground up and even has the ability to run off of batteries now (x8 AA). The 2nd Gen T-Amp features a regulated 12 VDC switching power supply rated at 3 amps output and a 3.5mm stereo input for MP3 players. Price: $59.99
Specifications:
– 2 x 9 watts (4 ohms @ 0.04% THD + N)
– 2 x 15 watts (4 ohms @ 10% THD + N)
– 2 x 10 watts (8 ohms @ 10% THD + N)
– Efficiency: Up to 88%
– Signal to noise ratio: 102 dB
– Dimensions: 1.18" H x 6" W x 5.5" D
The second new amp is the Dayton APA150. I love the look of this amp, it looks like it means business. The Dayton APA150 can be run in stereo or bridged mode, and even has an on board low-pass filter for subwoofer duty. Price: $109.00
