Toshiba’s third-generation HD-A30 HD DVD player is being offered by P.C. Richard & Son, a consumer electronics vendor, for the incredibly low price of $200.
This is a sharp price reduction from the previous price of $400 offered by most vendors.
This offer also includes copies of 300 and The Bourne Identity, two of the hottest HD DVD titles around.
Of course they have already sold out of their online stock, but there is a chance that some of their brick and mortar locations might still have some.
Hopefully this deal sparks some spirited competition among vendors and we see a whole flurry of $200 HD-A30s hitting the market, just like the HD-A2 did a month or so ago.
