We got our first sneak peak of the first wave laser-based HDTVs at the CES 2008 and Mitsubishi is all set to take the lead in the segment with their LaserVue HDTV Line all set to start shipping by fall this year. The new 3D-ready models in the LaserVue line feature brighter DLPs with Ultra Thin Frame laser HDTVs in both 60- and 65-inch panels along with three new 73-inch 1080p DLP HDTV sets.
All set to ship by Q3 this year, the new range promises a range of colors never available on TV before while refresh rates along the lines of 120hz would make the new range a gamer’s favorite as well as the connoisseurs of fine viewing. Prices for the DLP sets will range from $1799 to $4699.
