Arcam has announced the Solo Mini, the latest evolution of its Solo range.
It’s a two-channel CD player, DAB/FM tuner and amplifier in an even more compact box than the original Solo, and also includes an iPod interface (using the company’s rDock or rLead).
Other connections include a front-panel USB port and three line-level stereo inputs. A number of components from the Award-winning CD73 CD player, are used in the unit, while the onboard amp musters 25 watts per channel.
It’s due on sale during the early part of this year and is likely to cost around £650.
