Audio equipment newcomer, NuForce have announced a new mini stereo system based on their digital amplifier technology. The NuForce mini system is aimed at computer users and those wanting big sound in small package. The system consists of a miniscule amplifier and two full range, single driver speakers. The speakers come in a sexy two-tone paint scheme with the body being black while the cone surrounds and amplifier are available in a variety of colors.
According to Josh Ray over at SonicFlare the system has a “refined” sound that’s intended for audiophiles. Unfortunately, the system does have some faults; specifically, when the system was “driven with serious dynamics, the mids to highs started breaking up and turning nasty and metallic.” However, the system is still in development and with some tweaking it could become a “fantastic little product at $399.”
