Sennheiser has launched the CX 400 in-ear headphones, that they describe as a "killer audio upgrade" for iPod, MP3 players or music phones.
Improving on the CX 300s, the 400s apparently offer improved bass, greater clarity, improved dynamics, balanced sound, exceptional comfort and "beautiful" detailing of all elements.
The new symmetrical short cord with right-angle plug makes the ‘phones ideal for use with mobiles and MP3 players with remote controls or microphones.
Available in high gloss black, white, silver, "Bordeaux" red and aqua and supplied with a one metre extension cable and three sizes of ear adaptors, as well as a carry pouch, the Sennheiser CX 400s will cost £54.99.
A lanyard design version also adds an integrated neck lanyard to hold a mobile phone or MP3 player.
